There are 32 Moeller baseball alumni currently playing college baseball. I've chosen to highlight a few of these players and showcase their success so far in their college careers.
Charlie Niehaus - A redshirt freshman infielder at the University of Cincinnati, Niehaus has made an impressive impact in his first season with the Bearcats. He is batting .360 with five doubles, two triples, and one home run—a grand slam that came this past Tuesday against Miami (Ohio). He also boasts a .460 on-base percentage, 10 walks, eight stolen bases, and a stellar .983 fielding percentage.
Carson Marsh - A sophomore right-handed pitcher at the University of Cincinnati, Marsh posted a 5-2 record with a 4.30 ERA in 44 innings during his first season with the Bearcats. So far in his second year, he has a 2-1 record with a 4.32 ERA in 8.1 innings pitched.
Conlan Daniel - A freshman outfielder and right-handed pitcher at Wright State University, Daniel has had a strong start to his collegiate career. He is batting .317 with five doubles, one home run, seven walks, two stolen bases, and a .440 on-base percentage. While he has yet to pitch for the Raiders, he could see time on the mound as the season progresses.
Tyler Heflin - A freshman right-handed pitcher at Youngstown State University, Heflin has appeared in four games this season, recording a 0-1 record with a 6.75 ERA. Opponents are batting .270 against him, and he has only allowed five extra-base hits in 16 innings pitched.
David Hagen - A freshman right-handed pitcher at West Virginia University, Hagen has appeared in four games for the Mountaineers this season. He holds a 1-0 record with a 5.14 ERA, allowing opponents to hit .269 against him. In seven innings pitched, he has surrendered only one extra-base hit and issued three walks.
Kellan Klosterman - A freshman right-handed pitcher at Notre Dame University, Klosterman has appeared in five games so far this season. He has posted a solid 3.24 ERA while holding opponents to a .143 batting average.
Nate Earley - A junior first baseman at the University of Louisville, Earley transferred to the Cardinals after a successful season at Florida Southwestern State College. He has started strong for Louisville, batting .375 with two doubles and one home run in 16 at-bats.
Nate Manley - A sophomore catcher at Wright State University, Manley had an outstanding freshman season, batting .435 in 62 at-bats with three doubles and seven home runs. While his sophomore year started slower, he has been heating up recently, now hitting .289 in 38 at-bats with four doubles and two home runs.
Clay Burdette - A sophomore infielder at Xavier University, Burdette transferred from Ohio State this season. While his batting average currently sits at .230, he has made solid contact, resulting in tough outs. So far, he has recorded two doubles and three home runs in 61 at-bats.
Toby Hueber - A sophomore infielder at George Mason University, Hueber is batting .313 with one double, two triples, and his first collegiate home run, which came in a crucial game against Duke.
