Rainbow Six Siege
Is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege dead? Some may say that Siege hasn’t been relevant in months, but the stats say something different. In June 2025, the average amount of people who would play the game in a day was 82,861, which is the highest it was since April 2024. Most people would say that Siege has fallen off, or is dying due to the recent updates, but the daily average now is the highest it has been since early September. With all of the recent updates and streamers, like Jynxzi, revisiting the game after months, will Siege start to be a top game again?
During the summer, I could remember everyone playing Siege all day and all night. Everytime I got on my Xbox I would have at least 5 friends playing the game and inviting me to play with. There were clips all over Tiktok and creators making Youtube videos playing siege almost every week. Then, Ubisoft announced the new Siege X and it blew everyone’s head off. I remember getting onto Siege X and getting off after one game because I thought it was terrible. Within 2 months, none of my friends, including me, would even think about playing siege. Content creators stopped making videos, and it had seemed as if Siege had fallen off in 2 months.
This month, there was a sudden resurgence in the number of people playing Siege. Jynxzi, a famous streamer known for his dedication to the game, had started playing Siege again and enjoyed it. Players across the world had started getting into Siege again. The numbers climbed from 32,000 in November to 48,000 by January. People claim the game was the worst it’s been in years, but there were over 15,000 players playing everday. I played the game myself for the first time in months and enjoyed the state of the game. After the constant new updates, Siege is finally climbing back to be a top game again.
