With Heaven on Top-Zach Bryan
Zach Bryan released his new album “With Heaven on Top". He dropped this album January 9th, 2026. He also dropped an acoustic version of the album. The album consists of twenty-four songs and one poem. It is two hours and twenty-two minutes long. These albums were number one and two on U.S. Billboard 200 This is his sixth album, and he wrote, produced, and recorded the entire album on his own.
Personally, I think that this album is done to nearly perfection. He perfectly blends his storytelling with an emotional connection for the listener. The album has a good mix of fast upbeat songs and slower more emotional songs where is feels like he is singing a story to you. It is hard to choose one song to claim as my favorite, but as of now “Say Why” is my top song. Often, this can change because all of his music gets better the more you listen and understand what he is saying. He gets better when you can learn the lyrics and sing along. I have seen Zach play live in concert three times and have tickets to a fourth in April. I am excited to hear him play songs from his new album and I am sure I will have another great experience.
The people who give Zach Bryan backlash are those who think that his music is too sad or slow. While he does have some songs that give off more sad vibes, he does a good job of showing off his versatility in this album. Also, his critics may say that his songs all sound the same. In my experience the people saying this never have given his music a real chance and made an opinion on his songs after a couple of listens to him. At the end of the day with both of his albums being number one and two on the U.S. Billboard 200 it is obviously a beloved album that resonates with many people.
