Tennis Program: Final Stretch

The tennis program is once again having another great season. The varsity team is currently 13-4 and the JV team is 10-5.

Varsity Team:

Coached by Mr. Thompson and Mark Kuntz, the varsity team has been nothing but incredible this season. After losing the first game of the season, the team came back to win six in a row.  Most of these wins have been blowouts. They beat two other GLC teams twice this season and came in second in the GLC Tournament last week. After coming in second place in the tournament, the team won their next match against Loveland as they gear up for another tournament this weekend.

The team has two seniors this season: Quinn Herron and Ethan Hatfield. This year’s senior night match will be against Oak Hills on May third. Be there to support the boys.

Remaining Varsity Schedule:

  • GCTCA Tournament - April 29th (Away)

  • Lakota West High School - May 1st (Home)
