James Bond Has No Time to Die
James’s Bond’s newest film No Time to Die, stars Daniel Craig and is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. It is as action packed film filled with cool cars and pretty women. You don’t go to a James Bond movie to learn anything new. You go to ogle the latest Bond girls, gadgets, and exotic locations. A line from The Observer states, “The entertainment values are ever apparent, the violence and bloodshed have a certain lift that both defines and defies imagination, and who would have it any other way? That’s exactly what happens in James Bond No Time to Die.”
The general public is not very fond of this recently released film. The Boston Globe says, “No Time to Die may not be the worst James Bond movie ever made.” That might be because of the final scene in the movie. But you will just have to see for yourself.
While watching No Time to Die, it felt like a constant roller coaster, meaning you think you know what is going to happen, but the complete opposite thing occurs.
In this film, Bond is retired and living out in Jamaica when the new 007 agent, Nomi (Lashanda Lynch), is on a secret mission to bring him out of retirement for one last big mission. The film seems to have been a long story line that has been edited down and jumps too much with huge gaps in between. With a running time of two hours and forty odd minutes, you certainly don’t feel like the film drags on. However, it just seems to leap through major chapters almost as if somebody has created a film after speed reading a book.
Overall, I believe it was a great film, it was Daniel Craig’s last bond movie, so of course he had to go out with a bang.
