Homecoming recap

Homecoming was not all that we expected it to be this year. First off, what all is homecoming to me, homecoming is a night where you bring a date and get to dance and have fun at a school event. It was arguably the worst of my 4 years at Moeller but that isn’t to blame on the set up or the people running it. The problem was much simpler, it was the juniors they just did not bring the energy, and a lot of people didn’t come this year. If they would have brought the energy and more people came it would have been much more fun. Even though it wasn’t too much fun it was still alright and I’m glad I went.

Homecoming king, Jordan brown won the Homecoming king. This was the best part of the night. It got everyone excited up and jumping around, really the only memorable part at home coming but that isn’t the worst thing because it was still a good night. Although announcing the king was fun as soon as it was done everyone started to poor out of the place. I don’t even think they did a slow dance and if they did most people were already gone when they did. The food trucks were alright this year they could have been worse could have been better. There just wasn’t enough time.

I feel like while it wasn’t very much fun but it was still flew by, I’m not really sure how or why but it was like we walked in and left 30 minutes later but we had actually been there for almost 2 hours granted we were ready to leave but normally when you want to leave it feels like your living in slow motion, we were also excited about what we were doing after homecoming. The time of Homecoming, the time was good this year. It made It so you could still do something during the day and then go to Homecoming and then hangout with your friends before its super late. Overall Homecoming was still mid.

Homecoming was not all expected to be this year. It really was a letdown but I’m not sure why because it normally just ok anyways and overall, it wasn’t that bad it just wasn’t as much fun as I had hoped. After my senior homecoming I have to say I’ve had some good memories at homecoming and if someone were to ask me how it is I would tell them the good stuff.
