After living nearby and visiting often, I had always dreamed of going back to Washington DC. I remember begging for years and years to go back, never knowing when I would set foot there again. Yet with the blink of an eye, I was there once again, this time for a school trip there. What trip? Why? What did you do there?
At first, I was against the idea of returning there, just for a school trip. Yet there I was, with a bunch of Moeller boys, on a trip I will never forget, and for a reason that is anything but ordinary! This was the march for life, [explain] it special to me because X. We left at night and it was something I was against at first. The thought of being in school all day and leaving for DC at night only to do too much the next day was a concept that I never wanted to be in, but here I was on a tour bus. It was a very special moment that I will look back on fondly. And yes, I did get some sleep (NyQuil took care of that) for the 7-hour road trip there. Boy did I have fun, I took so many pictures, got to visit places (like the Lincoln Memorial and The Church). It was tiring, so tiring. Unfortunately, when I got to the hotel, I left my phone in the trash can. Although it nearly ruined the trip, and I wanted to go home, I continued the trip and still ended up having a good time. The point here is that the best of the trip can come at the most unexpected occurrences like this one! Its sure
