Senior Week

Moeller makes sure to give the seniors a good sendoff before leaving Moeller. The staff and parents are very intentional and make the seniors feel as if they matter. They start the week off on Tuesday when they have breakfast for the seniors. They had biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, and donuts amongst other things. Many of the seniors really enjoyed this meal.  At the end of the day Tuesday, the staff held a prayer service for the seniors. The students got to write the name of one person who has been a good friend to them on a rock. They also received a card with a biblical message to keep in their wallet. On Wednesday every senior who had made a college decision wore a shirt with their school on it. It was cool to see all the different places people were going. There are kids going to schools all over the country. The senior’s awards ceremony is on Thursday. The seniors will be recognized for all their hard work. There are many seniors who have had great academic success at Moeller. During lunch the seniors get an ice cream truck. This is a nice treat for the students who have put in so much work. On Friday the students are doing anything but a backpack day. Students will put their class supplies in random things. It will be a nice and funny way to cap of senior week.
