William Sauer

My name is William Sauer, and I'm from a family of four in Mason, Ohio. Throughout my life, sports have been a central part of who I am, and I am a passionate NFL fan. Currently, I play rugby 7s and volleyball for Moeller High School, where I proudly hold a state championship title in volleyball and was a state runner-up in rugby. My athletic journey began at St. Susanna Grade School, where I participated in basketball, football, golf, and volleyball. Outside of sports, I enjoy golf, pickleball, and serving as a fantasy football commissioner. I’m also a Bengals fan, always following the team closely.

The remainder of my senior year is shaping up to be incredibly exciting. As the Chief Marketing Officer of Moeller’s student-run business, I’m focused on driving profitability and success. With volleyball season starting soon, I’m determined to help lead our team toward securing our fourth state championship in five years. I’m looking forward to making the most of the rest of the school year and spending quality time with my friends over the summer. In addition, I play club volleyball for Cincinnati Attack, where I continue to develop my skills and passion for the game.

While my plans after high school are still up in the air, I’m considering continuing my academic career at either the University of Dayton, or Ohio State. I plan to major in marketing and statistics with the goal of becoming a marketing analyst after college. I will probably play club volleyball wherever I go, and I will also stay active by participating in intramural sports. After college, I plan to stay in Cincinnati, as I have a deep appreciation for both the city and the surrounding area.
