New Teacher Profile: Dr. Denise Krueger, Math Department
Another one of Moeller’s newest teachers is Dr. Denise Krueger, who teaches Algebra II and Trig, AP Calculus BC, and Multivariable Calculus.
Dr. Krueger has had plenty of experience when it comes to teaching. She has worked at multiple universities including Virginia Tech, Washington and Lee, and Mount St. Joseph. She has taught all levels of mathematics, which means she is bringing loads of talent here to Moeller. She says she is most interested in differential equations, numerical analysis, and optimization.
Dr. Krueger has attended two different universities on route to getting her PhD in Mathematics. She started out by attending Xavier University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She then attended Virginia Polytechnic and State University where she earned her Master of Science in Mathematics, and later earned her PhD from there as well.
Outside of teaching and math, Dr. Krueger enjoys baking, saying that she makes “numerous different types of cheesecakes,” which are sure to be delicious. She also enjoys watching and attending sporting events; her favorites are golf, football, baseball, and swimming.
Dr. Krueger is an awesome addition to not only the Mathematics Department but to Moeller as a whole. Welcome to the Moeller family, and we hope you have an amazing year!
