Moeller Prom 2023

Moeller Juniors and Seniors enjoyed prom this past weekend at the Manor House in Mason. I interviewed students about what they were looking forward to about prom and some of their favorite memories of Moeller.

I first asked senior Donovan Mukes about what he is looking forward to about the dance, and he said, “I’m looking forward to spending one last time with my brothers at a school dance and to really celebrate the end of such a great year.” I was able to catch up to Donovan after the dance and he said, “My girlfriend and I had a great time!” Donovan shared with me how fun it was to take his girlfriend to one last Moeller dance and to introduce her to the various teachers and Moeller staff members at the Manor House.”

I asked senior Kevin Quin about what he was looking forward to the most about the end of his senior year and his senior prom, and he said, “I can’t wait to bring my girlfriend to Moeller’s prom for the first time and to end our year off on a high note!”.

Adam Creeden’s favorite thing about prom was being together one last time with all his classmates and enjoying a nice dinner with his girlfriend and buddies.

Moeller did an excellent job with prom this year, from having DJ E-train, to having casino tables set up, they spared no expense. It was truly a fun and exciting way to end our senior year.

I was also able to ask senior Elijah Turner what he was looking for the most about his last high school dance. He said he was excited to bust a move and have a good time with his friends and his date. Eli has gone to every dance except for sophomore year because of Covid. One of Eli’s highlights of the dance was being able to dance with his brother and their dates on the dance floor.

Brady Cameron ‘23 is looking forward to hearing DJ E-train, and one last dance with his senior class as they are getting prepared to head their separate directions for college.
