Who is Mr. Thompson?

Mr. Thompson is a mentor group teacher for Zaragoza. He is on the science wing on the second floor in room 208. Mr. Thompson used to be the dean for Zaragoza, but he switched to become a mentor group teacher. Mr. Thomspon sells snacks and energy drinks, and he uses that money for his mentor group. He also sets goals for things like canned food drive, and if the mentor group does hit the goal, or if they come close, he will get rewards for the mentor group. Some of the latest things he bought for the mentor group were games for the PlayStation 5 that he also got. Mr. Thompson teaches two classes at Moeller. He teaches anatomy and physiology, and freshman year biology. Because of the two classes he teaches, and how long he has been teaching at Moeller, Mr. Thompson is the head of the science department. Besides teaching, Mr. Thompson is also the head varsity coach for the tennis team, and he has led them great past seasons. Last year, he helped Adam Anastasia win sectionals, and place at district. Adam Anastasia said, “He helped me with strategy and helped me come back against a kid in the sectional finals, because the other kid was about to win, and he gave me tips and I came back and won.”  Mr. Thompson is also just overall a great person, and he is always willing to help others with whatever they need.
