Who is this Zaragoza House Chaplain
Who is this Zaragoza chaplain? This is Sam Martin, Sam is in the Gote mentor group where he is a active member helping under classmen with math and chemistry homework. Sam attend St. Andrew St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SASEAS) for grade school where he played volleyball, golf and basketball. In choosing a high school Sam looked at 3 schools and Moeller stood out for its culture. When Sam got to Moeller he knew he wanted to lead but didn’t know in what way intel his junior year when house Chaplain Tommy Scahill showed Sam how passionate about his faith he was this lead Sam to start to attend LIFE and become for passionate about this faith. Through Attending LIFE Meetings Sam was slowly convinced by Tommy to apply for hose Chaplain. Sam said “If weren’t for Tommy I Don’t think I would have applied for house chaplain”. In talking with Sam he also talked about how being the house Chaplain after such a great leader like tommy. Since taking over as a Co – Chaplain with Ryan Cox, Sam has lead Kairos 134 and implemented new original prays written by himself and Ryan. At Moeller Sam has continued to play Volleyball and has joined life and has completed his journey of obtaining eagle scout. Next year Sam is attending University of Dayton to study Mechanical engineering and a minor in philosophy. Sam’s advice for his 2027 Zaragoza house chaplain predecessor is “get excited about what you’re doing and embrace the opportunity.”
