The Crusader interviewed Mercalde, Sackenheim, and Ralston.

Crusader: What are your goals for the rest of the season?

Ralston: Make it far in the playoffs.

Sackenheim: End the year with a winning record.

Mercalde: Make it far in the state playoffs.

Crusader: What do you think are some of the team's greatest strengths?

Ralston: We have good chemistry and stand up for one another.

Sackenheim: A lot of young guys push the older guys to be better overall leaders.

Mercalde: We can carry our energy from one game into another.

Crusader: How has adjusting to Coach Holum been?

Ralston: He is a really good coach and has college experience. He has shown us tough love unlike other coaches in the past. He has said we have something special here with our team.

Sackenheim: Great. He is a great role model and has pushed us to our limits in a good way. He wants the best for us.

Mercalde: He is a good coach. He is laid-back, but he is hard on us when he needs to be.

Crusader: What do you think are the best games you have played and what have you learned?

Ralston: In the St. Charles game, we totally dominated them. At the time, they were the first-place team. Coming off of a losing streak, we had to put the past games behind us and keep grinding. Good things will happen if you work hard.

Sackenheim: SJJ and Northview Sylvania. Doing all the little things right makes a big difference.

Mercalde: The St. X game was a ton of fun. No matter how much we are down, we should never give up.
