These are the top 10 baseball fields that the Archbishop Moeller Crusaders have played at:
Prasco Park: This is by far one of the best fields Moeller has played at because of the energy of the game. No. 1 Moeller vs. No. 2 Mason in front of thousands of people. All of the stands were filled during this game, which gave it more electricity. There was also free food, including Chick-fil-A, during the game.
Miami University: This college baseball field is aesthetically pleasing, with a huge scoreboard and trees in the background. The stadium seating wraps around the field. This fully turfed field does not have good hops, but it boasts one of the best bullpens in Ohio. The ball does not fly here, but the history and buildings in the background make it worth it.
University of Cincinnati: This field feels like it is dug into the ground, so the crowd is above you. It is a fully turf field that is well taken care of. Bounces on the field are natural, and the ball flies here. We played a GCL game against Elder here, which lacked energy, but it is an amazing field to play at.
Lakepoint Complex: These are some of the top fields in Georgia, with camera angles of every game. These fields are fully turf and have a TrackMan on the digital scoreboard on every field. The dugouts are spacious, and the bullpens are extremely nice. Behind the plate, there is stadium seating for the audience.
Xavier University: This field is fully turfed with a green monster in left field. The background is aesthetically pleasing with the castles they have built. The home team bullpen is far superior to the visiting team's bullpen. The stands are mediocre for a college field. This field is unique because the warning track in right field is elevated.
Defiance High School: This field is by far the best high school field in the state of Ohio. It is a fully turf field with a radar that is constantly on. The field is well taken care of and has a unique color pattern compared to normal turf fields. The outfield walls are padded, and the dugouts are spacious. The only downside is the bullpens, but they have a top-tier facility right outside the field.
Trinity High School: This fully turfed field has incredible dugouts and a very nice bullpen. The backdrop is beautiful, with trees all around the outfield fence. Behind home plate, there is stadium seating that goes fairly high. This is also the home of a top 50 team in the nation.
Archbishop Moeller High School: This fully turfed field provides natural bounces. The background of a hill and trees gives it a sense of beauty. The bullpens are solid, and the dugouts are very nice. There is also a state-of-the-art facility being built right next to the field. It is the home of the number one team in the state.
Mason High School: This field has a turf infield and grass outfield. The dugouts are extremely spacious, and the concrete stands in the background are very calm. Behind home plate is extremely small, making stealing home tough. The ball flies well here. It is also the home of the 2024 state champs.
West Chester Baseball Complex: These fields have turf infields and grass outfields. The dugouts are extremely spacious, but the field lacks bullpen space. There are minimal stands in the background, and the field provides natural hops.
