Moeller Baseball Outlook 2026

2025 Moeller Baseball Senior Class

Moeller Baseball Outlook 2026

Moeller baseball is a historic program throughout the years, including being the victor in 10 state championships. At a time last year, they were ranked as high as #3 in the country. They are coached by Tim Held who is in his 17th year and prior to him they were coached by legendary coach, Mike Cameron. They only return 6 seniors in the upcoming season so it will be interesting to see how they improve with losing 17 seniors.

In the last season of Moeller baseball, they had a record of 25-4-1. The team took a trip out to Las Vegas where they went 2 -0-1 and lost in the final of the tournament. This trip was very good for the team as it was a time to bond with each other and play against the best talent in the country. They got to play at Bishop Gorman High School against Bishop Gorman which is a very popular baseball school around the country.

With losing 17 seniors, the team knows they have a lot of work to catch up on in the off season. The team has been practicing every day since August including 3 lifts a week and 2 days of field work a week. Coaches are pushing the team harder than ever as everybody knows if this team works, they can be something special.

The team has 6 returning Seniors including Kentucky commit (Baseball and Football) Matt Ponatoski, Kent State commit Conner Cuozzo, Kayde Ridley, Adam Holstein, Jake Gaerke, and Adam Maybury. This team will not have a lot of experience, but the junior class has done nothing but impress over the years, with an undefeated freshman season and a 21-3 sophomore JV season. They will have solid replacements from last year and I expect this team to be way better than most people think.
