2K is trash now because they clearly don’t care about cheaters at all. Zen users are out here greening everything with scripts, turning competitive modes into a joke, and 2K barely acknowledges it. Legit players put in time to learn releases and play real defense, just to lose to someone letting hardware do the work. When cheating is this obvious and nothing happens, it shows how little they care about fair play.

The gameplay problems just make it worse. Animations already decide too much, and when you add cheaters on top of that, skill barely matters anymore. Contests don’t mean anything, timing doesn’t matter, and you’re left wondering if you got outplayed or straight-up cheated. Instead of fixing the core issues or cracking down on Zens, 2K keeps dropping patches that mess up shooting and call it “balance.”

At the end of the day, 2K’s priorities are clear. As long as people are buying VC, they’re not rushing to fix cheating, servers, or matchmaking. The Park stays laggy, Rec stays broken, and cheaters stay untouched. Same cycle every year: new cover athlete, same ignored problems, and a player base that’s tired of being sold the same trash over and over
